    School of Ministry

For those who know that God has called them to preach in some way or format. A study of receiving and understanding the deep things of God and the demonstration of His will on the streets. These people will be responsible for their own expenses and will be expected to do street ministering in hospitals and retail places and any place that will let us. Also, preaching will be required and a submission to criticism by peers. We will meet twice a month on Saturday mornings and after some time learning of God's will and how to operate in it, will go to the streets and places to demonstrate what has been learned. A great deal of reading and a steadfast prayer life is required. This class is not for volunteers, but for those hand-picked by the Pastor.

    Sound & Tape Ministry

This ministry operates the sound system during services. Copies of recordings are made available following services. This ministry also keeps a library of tapes for all to use.

    Jail Ministry

Freedom Church is involved with jail ministry in unity with other community churches.
Men and women teams go to the County Jail in Glen Rose, to visit with the prisoners
and minister to their needs with Bible Study and prayer. We have seen many salvations and healing miracles in this ministry.

    Prayer Chain

We have a listing of Church members and their phone numbers. Calling the Pastor activates the Prayer chain and he will in turn call the next individual on the list. If this person can not be reached than he goes to the next person. Once a person has been contacted, they are responsible for contacting the next available individual on the list and encouraging them to pray.

The leader of this group is responsible for making a list of nursery workers and the days they are requested to serve. It is the volunteer's responsibility to become aware of the day they are to be in the nursery and, it they can not be there, to swap with another individual.

    Youth Ministry

Description: Recognizing that the future of the Church will be shaped and determined by those who follow us in the years to come Freedom Church is committed to an ongoing ministry to Youth. We recognize that Youth are different from adults. Their music language perceptions and energy level is often vastly different from that of Adults. Therefore, while they serve the same Lord as adults we encourage them to express their love and service in their own unique and distinct way. In years to come the Church will not and should not be the same as it is now. Like our Youth it should be growing and maturing. Therefore we encourage our Youth to hold on to those traditions and ways which are good but also to walk in the freedom to hear God in bringing forth new things for the Church and the Kingdom. (Matt. 13:52, I Thess 5:21)
